Week 7
Happy Valentine's Day - Taylor struts her stuff in her Valentine's outfit. Since we weren't able to take her out in public yet on that day, Mommy dressed her up and took pictures for the world to see.
The following week, however, she did get to make her grand debut to the world. She visited her parents coworkers and church that Saturday. Taylor loves people, we have discovered. Taylor also got to meet her 7-month-old cousin Ariel.

Week 5
What a fun time we have had the past 2 weeks. Taylor is showing the beginning signs of some big milestones: starting to roll over on her own, holding her head up just a bit, even straightening her legs out, trying to stand. She is up to 8 pounds 12 ounces, gaining a good bit of weight. The weight gain is not surprising, seeing how much she loves to eat. She's definitely Daddy's little girl.
The neuroneonatologist was pleased with her initial visit with Taylor. Taylor will see this doctor at least one more time, primarily to monitor weight gain, but sees nothing right now that warrants concern. Taylor is focusing her eyes on people and her favorite toys (a caterpillar wrist rattle and a croaking frog). She hears very well, as Daddy's explosive sneezes make her jump.
Here are some more pictures from around the house. Pictures from grandparents will be coming this weekend - watch this space!

Week 3
Now that we have Taylor at home, it has been harder to find time to do these updates. I will try to keep updating this section weekly.
With that out of the way, let's get to the good stuff. Taylor is adjusting to life at home quite well. She eats like a horse, sometimes crying for food not 30 minutes after her previous meal. Her pediatrician is pleased with how Taylor is growing and developing. We still have the appointment with the neuroneonatologist on Feb. 6, which will give us an idea if the time Taylor went without breathing will have any neurological impact.
An assortment of pictures from this week, during Happy Time, and grandparents' visits.
