A mural on the ceiling Charlemagne's cathedral: Finished in 800 AD. The chandalier dates at 1165 AD. The relics of Aachen: In the Shrine of the Virgin Mary, they have the Cloak of Mary, John the Baptist's shroud after he was beheaded, the swaddling clothes of Jesus, and the loin cloth Jesus wore on the cross. |
